Oren Alexander is the Real estate broker who is very successful at the age of 25. “Living like they do” has helped him to find rich clients. His dedication for the work starts from the morning at 7.30 where he begins his official task from his bedroom which includes reading The New York Post and Wall Street Journal, checking the new listings, recent closing and going through the telephone calls and emails for planning his entire day.


Oren Alexander is the real estate broker for Prudential Douglas Elliman. He became popular when he sold the costliest mansion in Miami as he is employed on a commission basis. Therefore in order to do his work he has to rise in the morning so that he can begin working early to get productive results. With the help of Living like they do, he regularly keeps in touch with his rich and wealthy clients.


The real life of Oren Alexander is similar to his wealthy clients as he dresses like they do, frequents clubs that these clients visits and also celebrates New Year in St. Barts. In his early life he made the risky decision to work in the luxury market rather than rentals and he decision was right for him as he succeeded in his endeavor. He commented on his decision to select his job as he knew from an early age that he was born to sell big products so that he can get recognition. He didn’t want to be a usual real estate broker or a rental broker. According to him, the idea of being a broker didn’t excited him as he felt it won’t help him to succeed in life as this job is similar to being a club promoter. With the uncountable number of brokers you will get lost in the crowd which I didn’t wanted to so I dediced to chose the path to good reputation with the help of being in the high end business.


In the year 2008 he shifted to New York form Miami only to find a dead real estate market. He didn’t pay his rent for two month and then he signed his major deal for $8.2 million on a Midtown penthouse. Even with the desolate market, he succeeded to make such a great deal and that too being of such a young age. It became news which intrigued everyone. His next big deal was when he sold an expensive home in Miami for $47 million in the estate of Indian Creek. According to working off commission excites him as it has the advantages of getting high reward and the high risk of the job thrills him. He is travelling most of the time mostly on road or jet setting between New York, Miami and Argentina.


Oren Alexander thinks that real estate is a family affair for him as he and his older brother, Tal works together. He and his brother works in coordination to help each other so that conflicts of scheduling can be avoided due to listings in Miami and New York. They also work in securities. When he visits Miami, he helps his father who is a developer and he is building homes in Miami. One of the properties is in Bal Harbor that will be listed for $25 million and another at Indian creek island that will be listed for $35 million when these will be in the market after completion. He has been assigned the duty of marketing along with providing aesthetic input and design to the properties while his father is involved in the day to day operations. He is an emerging force in the real estate business in New York but had to seek clients along with convincing them that he was most suitable to do the job. But on Monday he got an email from a potential client who wanted him to help them with finding an apartment for them.
